You may only use this site to browse the content, make legitimate reservations and shall not use this site for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent reservations. This site and the content provided in this site may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed. ‘Deep-linking’, ’embedding’ or using analogous technology is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use of this site and/or the materials contained on this site may violate applicable copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws or other laws.

Disclaimer of Warranty

The contents of this site are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement.

The owner of this site, the authors of these contents and in general anybody connected to this site in any way, from now on collectively called “Providers”, assume no responsibility for errors or omissions in these contents.

The Providers further do not warrant, guarantee or make any representation regarding the safety, reliability, accuracy, correctness or completeness of these contents. Booking Terms and Conditions

Payment Policy

All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR). Rates quoted are in ZAR and inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

 

ANEW Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to amend pricing at any time without prior notice. The rate confirmed at the time of booking will apply to that reservation.

 

Deposit Policy

Reservation Guarantee

All reservations must be guaranteed at the time of booking. The specific deposit policy applicable (whether Pay-in-Advance, Non-Refundable, or Peak Period) will be indicated on the rate selected during the booking process.

 

Non-Guaranteed Bookings

ANEW Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to cancel any reservation that has not been guaranteed, at its discretion. Affected guests will be notified accordingly.

 

Accepted Payment Methods

ANEW Hotels & Resorts accepts all major credit cards. EFT payments are also accepted; however, proof of payment (quoting the booking confirmation number as reference) must be submitted to the relevant hotel at the e-mail address provided on the booking form.

 

Standard Advance Deposit

Reservations booked on a Pay-in-Advance rate require a deposit equal to 50% of the total stay value, payable at the time of booking to secure the reservation. The remaining balance is payable on arrival. This deposit is refundable in accordance with the standard cancellation policy applicable to the reservation.

 

Non-Refundable Deposit

Reservations booked on a Non-Refundable rate require full payment of the total stay value at the time of booking. This amount is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, amendment, or no-show, regardless of the timing of such cancellation, unless otherwise required by law.

 

Peak Period Prepayment

Reservations during Peak Periods (including long weekends, Easter, and Christmas holidays) require full prepayment to secure the booking. This prepayment is non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date. If full prepayment is not received within 48 hours of booking confirmation, ANEW Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

 

Cancellation Policy

Standard cancellation

Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to arrival are permitted without penalty. For reservations booked on prepayment terms, same-day cancellations must be received before 12:00 noon to avoid a charge for the full stay.

 

Rate-specific policies

ANEW Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to apply separate cancellation policies to individual rates. Guests are advised to review the cancellation terms applicable to their selected rate at the time of booking.

 

Peak periods

Reservations during Peak Periods (including long weekends, Easter, and Christmas holidays) require full prepayment to secure the booking. Prepayment is non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date. If full prepayment is not received within 48 hours of booking confirmation, ANEW Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

 

Sporting events

Reservations made in conjunction with major sporting events, including the Comrades Marathon and Midmar Mile, are strictly non-refundable.

 

Policy amendments

ANEW Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to amend or update these policies at its discretion.

 

No-show

A no-show fee will be charged where a guest fails to arrive without prior notification. It is the guest’s responsibility to notify the hotel in writing of any cancellation. The no-show fee is equivalent to one (1) night’s accommodation. Where the reservation was secured by a payment guarantee, that payment will be forfeited in full.

 

Refunds

All refund requests must be directed to the specific hotel at which the reservation was held.

 

Arrival Policy

In accordance with the amended Immigration Act (No. 13 of 2002), all hotels in South Africa are legally required to record and retain the personal details of guests provided with lodging accommodation.

 

All guests are required to present valid proof of identification at check-in. A copy of your Identity Document, Driver’s Licence, or Passport will be taken at this time.

 

The credit card used to guarantee the reservation must be presented at check-in. Please note that EFT proof of payment will not be accepted for bookings arriving between Friday and Sunday (inclusive).

 

All guest rooms are designated non-smoking. Guests found smoking in their rooms may be subject to a cleaning fee.

 

ANEW Hotels & Resorts is a fully licensed operation, with full-service restaurant facilities on site. Accordingly, no food or beverages purchased or sourced externally may be brought onto the premises. We reserve the right to retain any externally supplied food or beverages with Security for safekeeping and return them to the owner upon departure.

WhatsApp & SMS T’s & C’s

  1. SMS/WhatsApp text messages are intended to be a reasonable effort communication and represent just one component of ANEW Hotels & Resorts’ communication system.
  2. SMS/WhatsApp text message notifications may be delayed or not received during regional emergencies or other periods of high messaging traffic.
  3. Third parties can send SMS/WhatsApp text messages disguised as alerts from ANEW Hotels & Resorts and therefore you are urged to independently verify the authenticity of any message that you receive.
  4. SMS/WhatsApp text message order delivery is not always predictable.
  5. SMS/WhatsApp text message notifications from ANEW Hotels & Resorts will be presented on your mobile device in the same manner as any other SMS/WhatsApp text message.
  6. SMS/WhatsApp text messages may contain or reference trademarks or other proprietary rights of ANEW Hotels & Resorts or its affiliates. No license to or right in any such trademarks and other proprietary rights of ANEW Hotels & Resorts and/or other parties is granted to or conferred upon you.
  7. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all information contained in SMS/WhatsApp text messages is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  8. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we expressly exclude any liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with the receipt, use, failure of, or inability to use, SMS/WhatsApp text messages.

OUR RIGHTS

We reserve the right to:

  1. modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, the Website (or any part of) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or
  2. change these Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part of) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.
  3. We will use our reasonable endeavours to maintain the Website. The Website is subject to change from time to time. You will not be eligible for any compensation because you cannot use any part of the Website or because of a failure, suspension or withdrawal of all or part of the Website due to circumstances beyond our control.

Monitoring

We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website).

Law

The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

Updating of these Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.

Consent

I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to ANEW Hotels & Resorts and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by ANEW Hotels & Resorts for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.

ANEW Hotels & Resorts is a business in the hospitality industry that offers guests accommodation.

Responsibility

ANEW Hotels & Resorts takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transactions, including sale of rooms sold on this website, customer service and support and dispute resolution.

Variation

ANEW Hotels & Resorts may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
