Put on your Khaki’s and enjoy a Safari
There’s nothing like experiencing Southern Africa’s wildlife by taking safari through its exquisite game parks- and they are in abundance!

There are two ways you can discover the Big 5 of Africa, either on your own with a hired vehicle, or a guided game drive. Our suggestion is to take at least one game drive, even if you have a hired vehicle. The guides are highly trained and it’s always wonderful to hear them share stories about the animals and their experiences. Witnessing the big 5 is a once in a lifetime experience, especially when they’re in their natural habitats. Many of these animals are however nocturnal- especially the big cats, so if you want to view these animals, we’d suggest adding an evening game drive to your schedule as well.
Choose the right time to travel
The country’s culture isn’t the only thing that’s diverse, the weather differs dramatically across the country. Johannesburg is known for its summer thunderstorms, Durban is the humidity capital of the country and Cape Town’s second name is the Cape of Storms.
It’s very important to choose the perfect time to visit South Africa based on the activity you want to do. A beach holiday on the country’s South Coast is perfect for summer days, while the best time for game viewing is during the winter months.
South Africa is a breath-taking country that has so much to offer, is easy to travel, and dares one to embrace adventure.
